MLS: D.C. UNITED, ROONEY LOSE AGAIN

United have been one of the worst teams in the MLS (Major League Soccer) this season. This was further highlighted with their 1-0 defeat at the hands of hosts New England Revolution this weekend. New England Revolution and D. C. United met in a league game and it was manager Wayne Rooney and his players who ended the game on the losing end. Wayne Rooney has his work cut out in his quest to turn the fortunes of D. C. United around in the MLS this season.

Wayne Rooney is new to the MLS terrain as a manager following his appointment some weeks ago. Also, he had to wait for a work permit to perform his duties on the sidelines in the MLS. Rooney had to watch some games from the stands due to his work permit issues. His first game on the sidelines turned out to be a big boost for D. C. Keane Already Learning a Lot from Ronald Koeman

Everton defender Michael Keane says that he is already progressing a lot under the influence of manager Ronald Koeman. The former Barcelona midfielder was recently placed as the new manager at the helm of the club. He managed to come up with a decent first season at the club, and the expectations have increased in the 2017-18 campaign. Koeman has tried to meet those expectations with the signings of several new players in the summer. Wayne Rooney has returned to Goodison Park, while the club have also signed a talented defender in the form of Keane.

The defender made the switch from Burnley to Goodison Park for a fee of around £ 30 million, making him one of the most expensive defenders in the world.
